The best 5 outfits from the new Noughts and Crosses series

Have you been watching the new Noughts and Crosses series and in awe of their costumes?

We love the tribal patterns combined with a modern western look. There is a cool contrast in Minerva’s chic style and Sephy’s more streetwear style. The costume director for Noughts and Crosses, Dihantus Engelbrecht did an incredible job at portraying their different characters and views on the world through their outfits… Despite them both dating the same man!

Find out what our 5 top outfits are. Would you wear them?

1. Minerva’s midi dress

Minerva’s dress for us was the winner of the entire series. The cut is provocative and subtle at the same time. The Missoni-esq pattern would be perfect for going to the beach, or for an evening drinks party in the summer.

2. Minerva’s asymmetrical green knitted dress

Again Minerva manages to top it off again with this incredible knitted green dress. The asymmetrical cut, and changes in fabric are to die for, as are the details on the straps. This one would be great to mix up for either summer, or in winter by wearing a top underneath.

3. Sephy’s yellow cropped jacket

We also love this jacket that Sephy wears in the last episode, with the flanneled yellow finish in the hood. This jacket is great to add colour to streetwear or to rep at a festival. It’s very similar to the style of jackets our designer A Gata Na Ladra makes.

4. Kimonos!

Noughts and Crosses are very good with kimonos, and we love kimonos. You can wear them as dressing gowns indoors, to the beach or for jackets in the evenings. Sephy looks super cute with a polo neck underneath.

5. Accessories, t-shirt or both?

Whatever it is we love it! And a great way to jazz up a t-shirt and sharpen up a casual outfit.
