The best outfits from “And Just Like That” Sky and HBO series

Sex and the City (SATC) is back, so is the glamour, bold fashion choices, and the incredible outfits of Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte in the new series “And Just Like That.”. Carrie Bradshaw is back to wearing an array of headpieces, sky-high heels, designer handbags, and re-wearing some iconic pieces from her own wardrobe from previous seasons of SATC (even she has a more sustainable mindset this time).

Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon are back too, in their charismatic characters, looking fabulous as always, with the last fashion trends and mega creations, alongside with other iconic SATC actors, such as Steve Brady, Harry Goldenblatt, and Stanford Blatch.

We must say that our favourite thing on And just like that, regarding wardrobe, is the fact that costume designers Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago did an amazing job on mixing and combining designer brands new pieces with thrift and vintage ones. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Rogers and Santiago said they have gathered hundreds of second-hand pieces on ThredUp, the world's largest fashion resale platform.

In the same interview, Rogers and Santiago said that one thing that stayed the same in this series: the main characters’ fashion choices. Yes, they aged but we agree that when you like to dress something or in a certain way, you don’t need to change it just because of your age.

“…the girls are the girls. They don’t switch their style up just because it’s later in their lives." Molly Rogers

We may need a part II but, for now, we leave you with the best outfits of the iconic Carrie Bradshaw in And Just Like That, first 3 episodes!

May contains outfit spoilers.

1. Linen Jumpsuit

This one of a kind beige linen jumpsuit, open in the sides, topped off with the silky floral blazer is an outfit to die for and reminds us spring all over again! The jumpsuit is very light and elegant with a twist of modern, you can opt to wear a piece like this with a belt to show some waist, or without if you’re more in a baggy mood. Now let’s talk about this gorgeous blazer, with an oriental inspiration and with gorgeous colours. We dare to say that both pieces never go off trend, no doubt this is a timeless outfit, head-to-toe.

2. Pink Ruffled Midi Dress

This is one of those dresses that we bet you would always look amazing on it! Yes, we really like ruffled dresses at EDIS, and when we saw this one in bright pink we couldn’t stop dreaming about it in our closet. To top off the look you can always accessorise it with some accessories like necklaces, bracelets, headpieces, or with a belt to make your waist slimmer and in the right place. The belt worn by Carrie is a vintage belt she wore in the first SATC series too.

3. Bohemian Maxi Dress

The bohemian dress caused quite a stir on the internet. When people wanted to know where it was from and couldn’t find it, the costume designers later said that it was bought without a brand in a resale second-hand platform. We could say bohemian and maxi dresses are a huge trend but the most important trend here is that this is a second-hand dress and it’s gorgeous. Looks so good with a shirt or with a turtle neck underneath, for the colder days.

4. Gingham Victorian Skirt

Carrie’s gingham Victorian-inspired skirt is unbelievably sexy and glamorous, at the same time. Last summer we just got so obsessed with gingham and now we are even more! The skirt V cut makes a beautiful waistline, and the tie hat and super high heels are the perfect accessories to match with this look.

5. White Pleated Midi Dress

Classic dresses are always timeless and this one is no exception. You should always have one of these in your wardrobe. If you can choose the length you feel good with, you will always have a dress for a special occasion, a night out, a formal meeting, or a walk, the trick is to accessorise it in accordance to the circumstances.

EDIS connects you with the best designers and tailors in Europe so you can co-create unique pieces of clothing in your size. If you want to bring back one of Carrie’s outfits, start designing here.
